Glossary of Terms for the Pharos Print System:
· Pharos Print System – The name of the print management system the University of Northern Colorado utilizes to provide printing services in public computing labs and other public locations for the use in support of the University mission. The service is intended to conserve resources by discouraging waste. This service includes providing quality printers and printing supplies in all Pharos labs. · Pharos Print Card System – The name of the print management system used in the University Libraries to provide public patrons the opportunity print. · Trac Card – The prepaid print card which can be purchased with cash only from the UNC Libraries used to print with the Pharos Print Card System. Trac Cards can be purchased for $1, $5, $10 and $20. · User ID – The username which is used to authenticate in the Pharos Print System. The User ID your email address without the @unco.edu, i.e. jdoe1234 or john.doe. · Free Print Credit – The amount of free prints all students, faculty, and staff receive each calendar year for the Pharos Print System. Each year everyone will receive a free print credit of $8.00 which is equal to 100 pages of single sided black and white print jobs.
